Fellowship Groups
Life Groups
Families, couples and singles, of all ages, regularly meet
to "do life" with each other. They hang out, share meals, have fun and
grow their faith together. It is a totally informal
gathering in group members'
homes, where they get to be in relationship with each other and with
the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blokes@Hewett
Men of the community are invited
to monthly gatherings at various venues from 6:30 pm on a Monday night
for food and fellowship. There are regular Bible/faith-based studies
and the opportunity to hear one man's life story-in-a-nutshell. The
group also joins men of other churches at quarterly breakfasts and the
annual Adelaide Men's Convention.
Christian
Women's Fellowship - CWF
Ladies meet on a Tuesday
afternoon each month from 1:30 pm at the church. There are regular
speakers, fundraising events and outings as well as chat over a cuppa.
Women
of
Strength
This group encourages all
women of the region to come and hear inspirational speakers - usually
women - and develop their own strength. The group was recognised for
its contribution to the community in the Australia Day awards this
year. The ladies
have adopted the theme "You are God's Special Treasure" for 2011.
